Our Cutting Forme Production Process
White Rose Cutting Formes use only the latest machinery, and the most highly skilled personnel to make your project a reality. Substantial investment has enabled White Rose to build a state-of-the-art facility, with the following equipment in place to handle even the most precise of forme requirements:

All our vital machinery is duplicated so that in the event of a breakdown, White Rose still has the necessary equipment in place to meet your deadline, and ensure your project always runs smoothly.
White Rose Cutting Formes can receive your order in person, by telephone, or via our secure broadband internet connection. All orders, however received, are held on our secure server, and backed up regularly, just one more part of our rigorous attitude to efficient project management.

Data from the CAD workstation is sent directly to a plotter, which immediately generates, cuts and scores a sample package for customer approval.
Once approved, all the CAD data for the forme is used to create die-boards, stripping dies and blanking tools; all precision cut by laser. Our lasers are able to accommodate the preparation of one-piece die boards up to three metres in length, with longer joined lengths available if required.
Most rules are automatically processed to shape, specified from the CAD data; or if the curves are too complex, they are hand finished by our skilled engineers, and fitted to the die-board.
The finished forme is then thoroughly checked against the original design, and dispatched to the customer.
